4-18-14 - Short but sweet!

This week was super busy, but FULL of wonderful things!!

Tuesday we were able to go to the temple! The temple as a missionary is WONDERFUL! :)

Wednesday our car was recalled and we spent a large part of the day driving to the nearest dealership and trying to figure out what to do. Finally we were able to get everything settled and we are now driving a rental for several weeks......the NICEST car I have ever driven! We pull up to our lessons in style in a dark sparkly blue 2014 Impala.....haha The elders are a bit jealous...haha

This week we also had exchanges with other missionaries. I love exchanges because you always see amazing miracles! We were able to teach a lady named Krisi who has been in contact with the church for years through our genealogy program. She says her line can go all the way back to Adam now...is that possible!!?

Teaching her the first lesson she was very skeptical about Joseph Smith being a prophet. We felt prompted to ask her in the lesson to have her pray right then to ask God if he truly was a prophet. This is how her prayer went, "I ask to know if the things these girls believe is true.........(long pause).......for we all hope they are true...........we believe they are true............and we all know for a fact that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God..." it was AMAZING! We could feel her thousands of ancestors who were waiting for their work to be done in that room, helping her to know that what we taught truly was the TRUTH! The spirit was so strong! We look forward to her baptism next month!
